If you have one in your stratus why would it not be good enough to use in another one?

no my last one was totalled in a crash, but didn't go into failsafe, just seeing if it is good enough to be used in them?

Did you have the failsafe setup correctly and had tested it via turning off the radio and watching the servos before you crashed your heli? What happened to the stratus?

"I" didn't crash the helicopter, and yes i had checked failsafe was working, i had it set to cut the motor and servos go neutral, 0 pitch..
oh well i will just get another and try it

Just swing over to the synthesized RX.
It's the "RS77S" a 7channel synthesized RX and going for AUS $169,-
Here is the link: http://www.modelflight.com.au/radio_control_receivers.htm
That's what I stuck into mine.
It's the same prize as the R900 but with just 7 channels.
I can't see you using more then 7 channels anyway.
