Alan,
Thank you verymuch for the pictures,
So you are putting the rx outside the frame?
Guys, any other alternatives for rx placement?
Thanks again.

I don't have pics yet, but I was able to fit the ESC inside the frame behind the motor. Just unscrew the three bottom screws of the CF bottom tray and zip tie the esc to it. I'm using a 6200 so I installed the main receiver underneath the battery tray and mounted the second receiver on top of the torque tube mount. I was able to get everything inside the frame so nothing's exposed. Binding was a B**ch but if the unfortunate should happen, then I won't be too worried about damaging the electronics. Hope this helps and I'll try to get pics up soon. BTW the Pro is miles apart from the v2. So sensitive with power for days!

I am planning to install AR6100 to the bottom CF tray with velcro not sure if i can get the cyclic servo wires that far and the antennas will be folded because the frames doesnt have openings on either side at the bottom to stick them out.
Do u guys think folding recevier antennas would be ok? by folded i mean antennas in semi crircular shape instead of straight.
BTW, i installed ESC behind the battery tray.
Please advise.
Thanks

The antennae are di-pole and will function best when they are both pointing straight out in opposite directions. I can't say how much reception you will lose by bending them, but I will say that I have seen plenty of helis and foamy planes that have them bent around back towards the case (circular, like you're talking about) and they function as normal.

Just make sure to point one antenna forward and the other rearward and you should be fine. As long as the antennas are opposing it should maximize reception. I placed my receiver under the battery tray and fed the antennas out of the velcro strap slot underneath the tray.
