I recently picked up the XTR and at first had some buyer's remorse, felt like it was just a boring video game. But I gave it an honest effort, not just zooming and looping, though I have! Within the first day I noticeably improved on my comfort level with beginning nose in, and today I nosed two packs thru! Flying towards myself and nose in hovering was a huge block for me and after a couple hours on the sim, WOW! :D I would recommend it to anyone that wants to learn, but you have to keep it real, just my thoughts.- JT

I second that Buddy. Got XTR yesterday and spent 5 hours practising circuits, nose in and playing about. Just taken my Twister CP(Blade clone) out for a spin and Yes the XTR really made a difference. I was doing proper circuits right out and round whereas before I was just able to do left and right passes with small tail only turns at either end. Sad then, that I dumped my heli in failing light (it was too windy earlier in the day). Waiting for parts now :( However, back to the point, XTR really does help as well as being (almost) as much fun as real flying. Only problem I got is that it often won't recognise its 'dongle' in the USB port. XTR is just so realistic, I can't wait to download a shed load of models for it - hell, I've even been playing around with the fixed wing sim, which is also brilliant :D

I honestly could get bored quickly due to the absence of adrenaline, but I found I'm not as shaky when the heli is pointing at me now, not to mention how many times I crashed or chopped my self to bits practicing the nose in on the sim

How much money is the XTR because the G3 i think is to expensive. Also does it come with a controller, if not how much controller. Thanks if anyone can answer :D

$190 No controller you use the one for your heli. To me its the best sim out there.

I got mine for $150, second hand. It's worth the cost, one small crash with my Logo 10 easily hits $150!
