Hi!
I have a T-rex 700 aerial photography ship with an Helicommand Rigid unit installed. Since the flybarless Mikado upgrade for the T-rex 700 is less than 100$, and that the Helicommand Rigid can be used to fly FBL, I am thinking about removing the flybar.
I was wondering if there is any requirement for the swash servos (high torque needed?). I run 9452 servos on the swash, at 5.6 v.
Thanks!

nopp, usually the FBL unit desides what you can and cannot use..
they will work fine..

I use the 9452 on my fbl 700 and they work well. I would say get the most torque and speed you can afford. Remeber that besides aiding in stabilization, a flybar also acts in some effect as power steering taking some load off the serrvos. In a perfect world I would run 8717 but I can't justify $125 per servo but thats just me. I do have my eye on the savox/align 610's as they are near the performance of 8717's but only $180 for all three. But overall the 9452's will work just fine.

The faster the servos can move combined with lots (+-10 at the very least) of cyclic pitch means the better the system can work to combat shifts due to wind etc.
