PV0499 updated tail hub on 30v1

I am still learning the basics on my 30v1 and have a fairly good check-over routine after every flight. I've removed the tail grips and checked the grub screws on several occasions. Although my stock hub hardware hasn't loosened to date, I would still like to change over to the one piece PV0499 update in preparation for intermediate and advanced flight down the road.

Are the stock v1 bearings and tail grips compatible with the updated hub? Are there any other critical updates on the tail I could easily change while I'm back there?

You will need to go with the updated V2 grips and bearings to fit the new hub. It is worth it IMHO to do it though. Also make sure the pin that holds the red gear to the tailshaft is secured, they have been known to extracate themselves ;)
