Well my Intrepid EB came in on friday and I would say that I have the build completed with the exception of electronics and linkages due to the radio (9chps with 9252's) not arriving in time for the build. Anyway the build went very well, I was impressed with the overall quality of the parts etc. Now who is located in Southern Cali and wants to be the one to look over my final setup (for a fee if need be). I am fairly sure that all I will need is help with radio config and possibly engine tuning but I have the video from gary and if thats all it takes I have to wonder what everyone is boo hooing about. Anyway this whole experience should be great (fingers crossed) I have never flown or built a heli before but so far so good. Plenty of hours have been spent on the G3 sim with the bergen gasser madel even. Inverted flight and auto's are second nature at this point. Oh and the same old same old, I called bergen and talked to chris and larry on two seperate days (before purchase), they were in absolutely no rush to get off the phone with a "potential customer" with no experience. That played a big part in why I chose the bergen.

I am in Norco, CA where the 91 and the 15 come together and would be happy to look over that new armed gasser.

I went to Gary's for some flying lessons, and he had me fly the Bergen on the G3 for a bit first before actually flying.

In all honesty I can say that flying the real thing is actually EASIER than the sim!! Just go slow and easy.

My jaw muscles were sore the next day from clenching my teeth in my first few hovers :D

Good Luck!

Oh its hot alright, I would be more than happy to make the drive for some quality assistance. I did all of the linkages tonight (tedious). Need the radio to come in, hopefully tomorrow, blades will be in before friday as well. Received one gallon of blue marble today, its all coming together!!!
