Blades: 720 rotortech
Head speed: 1850
Engine: Actor 32-4
Controller: Schultze 40-70
Servos: Futaba 9252
Fuel: used electrons
Batteries 12s3p Tanic
Funtech FAI paddles
Mods? What is that? Other than the above it is mostly stock. My setup always needs improving. It is setup for FAI and can be very smooth in the hands of a better pilot than I am.

Fixed the plastic part on the metal A-arm. See the post on this site. Piece of crap. Cost about 300 dollars in repairs on a brand new heli. Failed in a hover. The fit on the pull pull Aluminum elevator arm is not very good for at 1600 dollar Heli.
Having Hi6054 part remade in solid Aluminum. Plastic broke on the Hi6054 and can not get one from Century. This caused another 300-400 dollar repair on the same heli, less than a gallon of fuel. You want to see the parts of talk to somebody watching? I have three gassers. Not a great supporter at the present. I pay for my stuff and am not at Hired hand.

A tip, it always best to research a heli and it's background before buying don't be afraid to ask about failed parts or problem areas with a particular heli.
You could have saved you self some money. I know that the Cheaper helis aren't all ways the best ones to go with you usaully end up spending two to three times more than what you would have if you bought a more reliable machine.
Sorry to hear about your losses. Been there though. Flew them breifly!! :arggg: :arggg:

I have had my share of problems with other more expensive helis ..eg lock out, had to install grounding plate, bad swash plate ,swash would lock up ...other heli clutch stack bad after 1 gallon torque tube spinning on end caused slight crash, ,have to say the 3 predators I have are the only helis other than my freya's that have not caused me any trouble, Have about 10 gallons thru each of them

Hey Steve, this is quite tragic for one of our poor babies, I mean helis.....I have put about a dozen of these machines together, went from the first generation plastic A arm to the second generation thick now the metal, I have yet to encounter the issue that you have. I have to admit I have had my share of ills! The push pull aileron/ pitch bell cranks should have lock nuts behind them for starters, just an added tip. In a hover that is crucial. Chris is right, you have to inspect this stuff before you put it together cross threading that thing may cause some loss in integrity for sure, a hot bearing too, but in a hover? I have a couple of those parts at home and I am gonna do a test with them and post my results. Sorry about your loss.
