XP 7202 (DX7) corrupted model?

Hey all,

I have a JR XP7202h (basically the same thing as the DX7) and I let the battery (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=4932) get low...it beeped and said to recharge. No biggie I though. So I turned it off and recharged it. Now, the model I had programmed in #8 is corrupted! What I mean is if I'm on model 7 and try to go to 8, it simply doensn't do anything and freezed the radio until I turn it off and back on. I can go backwards from 7, 6, 5, .....all the way from 20 down to 9....but when I go to 8, the same thing happens.

Has anyone ever seen this? Is there any way to recover model 8???

Wow, same thing happen to me today? First time I see that, I don't how to fix that, did you figure a way to fix it?

When you say you let the battery get low, are you referring to the stock battery?

Yes the stock pack I was finishing making some change and it start to beep, so I just finished what I was doing and after charge the radio and when I turn the radio back on the model memory was gone.

Sorry to hear that. I'm curious if you copy another model into the corrupted memory location, does it work? I'm only using four models right now, and I might start backing them up into unused model storage in case this happens to me.

Good idea, will tomorrow. I reprogramed to a free memory # and it's all good but still not normal!. First time I see that! To back up if you have the space or write down your programming is good trick, I write down my programming.

Nope never fixed it....was told I'd have to send the radio back. So I lived with it....not a huge deal, just no longer had model #8.

I ended up getting a DX7 and now use it.

I have a DX7 too, it's just that I have some plane still on FM, all my heli are on Spektrum.
