I searched for info on the servo and didn't find any gasser related posts, so my question is:

I just bought a JR 9303 w/ the PCM reciever and 4 8311 Digi servos.

Are these servos enough for a gasser? (140oz/in and .18 transit @4.8v and Im gonna run a 6v...)

Later,
Jake

Of course they are. I use those all the time on my gassers. They are the top quality best servos. Instead of running 6v, how about using the battery pack that came with your tx and adding an on-board generator that will run everything at 5.4v (full charge on a 4 cell) and keep your battery charged. If interested I can hook you up with one of those - I think its the best way to go as you never have to worry about battery power level every again. Just gas and go all day long.

Cool about the servos, but that onboard charging system sound kinda cool, how is the wieght compared with my Li-Ion and Regulator setup?

Thanks for the comment!

Here is a link to my website for it:

It weighs 3.7oz without the mount. With mount depends on if you make your own of purchase a premade one but either way I would say less than 5oz total.

The good news is, you are flying a gasser and you are not going to feel 5oz. The better news is, that 5oz extra weight gives you unlimited flights at the field day after day. Lastly, you get power redundancy so if you battery gets unplugged, your switch fails, or something happens to the generator, you still got power to bring it home.
