The 2in1, and Throttle Jockey are directly under the main gear. The flight battery is velcro'd inside the canopy.
Balance is perfect with 1/2 tank of fuel:thumbup:
I took the stock battery mount from the kit, trimmed it down, and mounted it above the boom block, for a RX mount. And then, used the space under that to store the extra wires. worked perfect, and much cleaner than the other options available

Very nice Glenn. I too had problem with the tail guide, both on the 500E and 500N until I switched over to the tail guide designed by none other than Eduardo, the designer of the 500N. They are available at RCDepot or flyhelirus.

I've finished the built this morning after a marathon session.
Things to do:
Install Align DS620 for tail servo.
Replace Hitec HS82 throttle servo with Futaba S9560
Lean out engine. Excessive some/oil covered skidds, battery and frame!
Maybe I should get al longer muffler deflector??
Fit governor and hunt the tail drift!
Here is some pre-maiden photos. Note that since the photos I've moved the pressure nipple to the top of the Mavrikk muffler.
