servos for 2.4 rx's

Hi all,
I'm seriously considering moving over to 2.4ghz from FM..

can I use the servos I use now ? 6volts

Anything else I need to know about 2.4ghz before hopping across ???

Same servos ... antennas are shorter. that's about it.
