Hey Guys
Sniper came up with what I think is a great idea. If one of us balls it in hard... Maybe we can pitch in to the Brother that needs some help. I really like this idea! .....I know it may be alittle difficult to gauge the "need" but maybe we could figure something out.
Say a friend of yours just piled in at 90 mph nose first and just completely nackered his prized bird. You KNOW how he feels..... SICK!! ...........Now he's got to go out and buy all this stuff and his wife is going to get really pissed because he spent all of her shoe and purse money.
Maybe we can figure out a way to help a buddy out with his rebuild. You know....... five bucks from here.... ten from there... two from here... who knows??
Next think you know he's flying!!:banana
What da ya think?? We'll need to design some type of qualifier... Maybe we'll need to vote on it... Who knows?? But I really like this idea!!!

Let's see... Few dollars here, few dollars there. Thousands of forum members, dozens of crashes per week. Sure, how much could it add up to?
I think that I'll stick to the free market system on this one. I break it, I buy it! :thumbup:

Yep, I know. I'm Mr. "Free Spare Parts" at my club, from speed controls to Neu motors... ;)

Funding Mr. Crash's rebuilds is not cool.:thumbdown: (and unfair to those who don't crash much)

Funny really.
A similar conversation took place in a coffee house in London over 300 years ago. Lloyds coffee house has long gone but the insurance idea lived on
The idea could work out, but ONLY if hundreds/thousands of pilots more or less paid a certain money into an account. Pay out to documented crashes.
This would be the same principles as general insurance.
In a small group, the idea would not work at all as the pay outs would be unequal and likely too big compared to the acceptable input.
Myself would start flying pretty much way beyond my limits if "someone" paid my crash costs:P

If ya crash its your own fault no one elses ya either learn to fly or go broke quick lol but if someone was needy might be a good idea but if ya want ill give yall my paypal address i need to stock up on crash parts:hug:
