My suggestion is to get a new heli,, no joke!! I started off with the Axe-Cp myself and enjoyed it for a little bit, but everytime you crash something seems to go wrong. The eboards on them suck and go bad alot. I had Helimax send me three of those suckers. I messed up my first one so bad I bought a second one. The pots on it are very sensitive and its annoying. The tail doesn't hold worth a SH$% and its just a cheap heli in general. The servos suck and the gears will strip easily in a crash. I now have two very nice helis. I have my Raptor 50V2 and my Mini Titan which I finished about a month ago now. Its best to take your money and invest in something better. I realize after flying the Axe-Cp compared to the Mini Titan and Raptor, its worth it to buy good electronics. I would never buy a RTF heli again, especially the Axe,, its just not worth it. I flew it on a windy day one day and fought the tail so much just to keep it somewhat steady, where as my Mini T is stable and needs very little adjustment. Get rid of it and get something better!

Yeah, the axe is very frustrating. I thought I was doing pretty good with it, then I got my trex 450 in the air. The difference is amazing, I had to dial down the expo because I didn't end up needing as much after all. Another problem I had with the axe is that the stock dampers are way to soft. So easy to boomstrike with this thing. I am sure that adding a gy-240 would help the tail immensely, but honestly I don't want to spend the money to pop for a new tail esc. I just don't want to spend anymore money on this one. No eboard problems yet, but I haven't properly stuffed it yet either.

I can't wait to see how much more stable my rex 600 is, soon as I get the finances to finish it.

Good news is, if you can fly the axe cp blade cp, you can dang near fly anything. Even the most simple step up will amaze you with stability.

I got ahold of helimax today and they are sending me a new board free, but still didnt explain why they keep cooking, I am told that once I get this thing down pat, other helis will be easier, the only problem, its costing me a fortune to get there, lol, and my wifes not laughing a whole bunch. AH well dems da breaks!

the e flite g110 i put on my buddy's seems to work pretty good. Works much better on the cp than it did on my 400.

Well damn, because I just got one, mainly because all my RC stuff is up in Maine, and I wanted to fly while I was in FL.

I've already gone through 2 sets of main rotor blades, and hope that it hold up for at least a few hours of flight (because I ordered 3 more sets)...
