axi 2212/12 --- pinion

i need some advice on pinion selection for the axi 2212/12 for the hornet 2

i have just got a new kit in the box and also have a set of sab carbons for her....

any other advice for the hornet would be appreciated as i only have limited knowledfe of electrics.

also will the hornet 2 3d out the box without modification ?

some people say you can cut the boom of in mid air ? is this true ? how do you stop it ?
