Charge Through Regulator Switch Lead

I have a buddy that has a 6V nicd for a receiver battery.

I gave him a 5.1 switched regulator.

Can he charge through the switch lead or does he need to charge through a Y harness of some sort?

Yes he can charge thru the charge lead that is on the regulator with the switch.
