I have had a hard time in the past getting parts for my old Khyoso heli. Things may have changed but if it was me I would go with the JR due to the avalability of parts if I crashed. Just my opinon though and only based off the being able to get parts not how well either of them fly as I have never flown a JR heli.

If you are a newbie, consider a more popular machine. Nothing sucks worse than waiting on parts. With your choices it could be wait and wait and wait some more..

In my area Raptors seems to be the heli to fly. The local hobby store has all the parts you could ever need from a crash for a Raptor. He does cary parts for other helis but more of a selection for Raptors. Parts avaliblity was the key that sold me to the Raptor and after flying my Raptor 30 I love it.

It's also good to have a bird that your local field or experienced pilot will be familar with.
