Nobody has an engine in their 500n?:thinking
None of you said what engine you are using. While it may be obvious to you, I have no idea what you're using.

Hah, that was supposed to be a secret. Now the cat is out of the bag http://www.helifreak.com/images/smilies/nodding%20grin.gif
37SZ-H Ringed Heli Engine is what the conversion kit was designed for.

There is a kit? News to me.
I think a .25 would fit in the same place as a .37, probably a few others as well.

Are there any other motors that will work.. I also have a OS 40 LA . Basically will any motor work besides the .37 Im not trying to be cheap but I have a bunch of stuff that I am too lazy to sell..lol Also do you guys think that a Hitec HS-82 mg will work for throttle? so far I have a t500 CF, JR770 gyro /8900g tail, Hitec digital servos on Cyclic, I recetly sold my Raptor that had a nice .37 motor in it.. :( I was thinking I would like a t500 electric. However I am such a nitro fan that the Conversion is really sexy to me. I have a T450 that I will keep for my electric heli. I also have a T600N. I really miss my Raptor 30 the size and stability was really sweet.

It has to be a "heli" motor that has a large head on it for cooling. A airplane motor like the 40LA will probably run too hot.

here's a cheap option but I have no idea how these engines preform.
