I've not ordered the os37 and revolution muffler with my kit. I found an alternative to the revolution one, called Mavrikk MVPV0102http://www.helifreak.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=91880&stc=1&d=1239787816
Is it about the same size and weight as the Revolution muffler?

The Revolution Muffler RV01130 weighs 86 grams with all related hardware to mount it.
I have used the mavrikk mufflers before on my raptors and they worked fine. A little less power than some of the high end mufflers like Curtis and Hatori, but they cost a lot less as well.

I'm running a revolution muffler on my raptor 50 and I like it a lot.

If that was you at the HeliHeads field last week when Alan and I came out to join/fly, I like the sound of the Revolution muffler you are running. Not to loud but looks like good power.

The revolution muffler is not loud and gives good power. The 500N I crashed yesterday was tunned toward my flying style (sport plus few loops, rolls, not very good tic-toc, invert flying, etc.). The other 500N, the one Tim Jones flew, was tunned for hard 3D so it produced much more power. Both are running on revolution and CP30%.
