has anyone tried running the p10 with the 2025-2700? and where did you get the pinion gears from for the himax.

I have heard an AXI is also great in the Zoom. I think it was TabbyTab that said it on Ezone, but not sure.

Axi is the shizzle, I run a 2208/20 with 18T pinion and it has loads of power and stays much cooler then the Himax 2025-4200 I had on there before.
Also lighter then the himax.
I highly recommend it!

I got my 2mm I.D. pinions from mtbb (mtdd?) on RunRyder. He posted in a few of the zoom threads about motors and such, shouldn't be too hard to find. What's the going price and rpm per volt on the Axi?

I think around 75 bucks, you can find the specs on the motor at Hobbylobby or aircraft world.
The cool thing about the axi is you can get pinions at your LHS since the shaft is 3.17mm or 1/8.

Justgofly.com has some great brushless stuff. you can get it from Performance-hobbies.com in Webester NY. I run one in my shogun. The best 3D pilot in the area said it was great!! I only do light 3D, but I love it too!
