I have a raptor 50 SE which is brand new I am on my second tank of fuel and WOW is it smooth compared to my hawk its amazing almost to smooth. But I have a small problem with it. So far I can hover it perfectly no problems at all it has a 401 Gyro installed and futuaba digital servo's all around and a Futaba 9C as my radio 9Ctap (or something) can't remember its exact name off hand. I started with gyro sensetivity at 100 avec (sp?) and normal 100 then I started brining it down. What it does is in HH mode I can hover say 30 seconds then it will shudder the tail then normal again then say 30 seconds again then same thing. If I try to use the rudder same it will shudder the tail then stop. If I go to normal mode the shudder appears to go away the heli does seem to be holding heading in HH mode though. I have gone from 100 and 100 down to 50-50 and it still does this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think you need to go lower, I am on 27%

I will give that a try I went though the whole thing and aligned the rod holders better for the servo, I also lubed it as well. I lubed the slider incase of binding too. I will also try to turn the gain down.

Get the heli in a hover with HH turned on. With the gain up the tail will "chase" a little... turn the gain down until the tail holds steady and you're good to go.

Its weird because it will hover perfect for abotu 30 seconds in HH then shudder then back to perfect again. If I am not using thr rudder stick. If I give it rudder then it will shudder at the first input to then go away again.

Is your engine nice and steady? The gyro can act up if the motor is running too rich or too lean and not producing smooth consistent power.

I thought about that but the engine seems to run really well. I noticed on my hawk before a badly running engine would do that. From what I have flown the raptor it is night and day smoother then the hawk!

So I have it figured out now there are a couple settings I didn't notice there is gyro sensetivity on my radio under the gyro sens option then under the end point adjustment there is another setting for the gyro so I have it at 90 on the H side and 50 on the L side and its amazing smoothest heli I have flow yet my experience being the raptor 30 hawk 30 the blade cp and the blade cx.
