so i haven't run into any trouble w/ my trex yet.... but w/ my blade cx, the battery does not seem to be charging up, it only flies for about 60 sec. i put it back on the charger (the one it came w/) and wait till it says it's good, i check w/ a DVM, says 8.4v..... must be good.... nope, same thing. the battery was workin' fine till i let it sit for a week. i didn't think these needed daily cycling.... what am i missing here. even after i try to fly it for about 60 sec., realize that it has no juice, measure again, it still says 8.4v..... someone drop me some clues. i am new to elec. and battery stuff..... and at this time i haven't picked up a triton or anything fancy.... still using the cheap chargers....

I am not too familiar with the Blade CX or the charger that comes with it, but I seem to rember it has a 3 cell lipo and a cheap Lipo charger.
Edit: Never mide I looked it up and see that it is a 2 cell lipo.
Minium voltage should be 6 to 6.6 volts so it should work but that is loaded up in flight. What is the voltage under load can you check that? If you could find sombody with a good charger that could discharge you could check the battery. If it drops rapidly under load it is either bad or discharged. How long does it take to charge? Can you tell with the stock charger?

The Blade CX is a 2 CELL system, so 8.4 volts should be great. I am unsure of what is happeing with your heli, I would try another pack and see if the results are the same.
Mine will run over 10 minutes easy without any noticeable power problems. ANd is your taking 1.5 hours or so to charge? It should take that long with a nearly empty pack. I suspect your 4 in 1 or your charger may be bad if you find the battery to not be the issue.
