Curtis MPII and Hatori sb18 on OS91's

To those who have played with Hatori and MPII on OS91's What differences have you noticed ? Which one do you prefer and why ?

At normal hovering head speeds (1600) will the engine not run as nice when the engine is setup for balls out 1800/1900 headspeeds? The reason I ask is that on both these exhuasts, my engine runs really well/smooth in idle 1/2 but in normal mode the engine sounds like it is not running smoothly and I have therfore had to up my normal mode to around 1700rpm, is this normal?

Surely someone has an opinion over these two pipes and what the differences/benefits are of each no.......

BTW the engine is a 91sz PS hyper if you require more info

Jambo I believe what your experiencing is normal. I know CY runs his head speed 1700-1750 in all flight mods. He is using 8.0 gear ratio.
The MP2 weighs about 3 ounces more than the Hatori.
I personally prefer the Hatori muffler, it seems to work well in all RPM ranges.
