I sent my actro motor to germany for an inspection and they are asking 45 euros to be paid in order to re-ship the motor back to me, is that a right value just for an inspection ? They want to be swift bank transfer. Please advise me, if this is logical.

The shipping business is the one we all should be in these days, they get a piece of everyones action. Yup this sounds completely normal. Heck of it is, it'll still take quite a while to get back through the German postal service...

Chuck here is the information

you have ot be very patient with them, they are slow in replyings emails because of the time difference and they charged by wire transfer, make sure you are prepared to pay 60 dollars wire transfer fee along with the euro values, they just did an ESC inspection for 45 euros, talkw ith Frank only he is a good guy.

Chuck I write off everything that goes bad from Kohler if I can't fix it myself. I've sourced the bearings and can glue magnets back in as well
It's not right but Frank Kohler will not pay for anything even if it's his fault.
You'll pay for a bearing replacement even if the motor was never run.
I sent him a bad NIB Actronic ESC once and he charged me $110 to get it back. We bought 3 at the same time all had the same problem and all got the same charge. Fortunately Gerd from Mincopter let me pay him with a CC and passed it on to Kohler or it would have cost $170 to get a brand new $350 ESC working :bomb:

Well - I purchased Enam's motor - now that it's back from Germany for a clean bill of health.... How often are you supposed to send these back to Germany?
