Ok, on my previous post regarding my battery for 9ZH.
I went to local hobby shops here and they dont carry any NiCd pack.
So instead... Guy told me to Radioshack and Buy a battery listed on the picture below...
Im skeptical about this situation... lol...
I dont wanna start messing around with this until I hear a oppinion from you guys here.

thats a waste of time.
they are 1000mA NiCd.
Go to a place like radical-rc or hangtimes and order a nice beefy transmitter pack.

Well... on the original battery pack it only says 700mAh thats why... I decided to buy this pack of 1000mAh.
Radioshack battery cost me $12
But will they work fine? I mean... I dont really need super pack... just want to replace my old one.

You will need 2 sets so if they are 12 a set then that will cost you 24. They will work fine; however, I would question the quality of radio shack cells.

They will also be difficult to solder together, and fit into the Futaba case.

Any of these would be a far better choice than the Radio Shack ones.
You may have to remove the outer shrink wrap to fit them in the case.
These are all made from name brand quality cells that have been factory welded together.
There are many other sources for built up packs, you just have to hunt areound a little.

ohh. thanks for the help guys. I ordered those Sanyo 2700 mAh. It comes with pre solder top so... I guess that would be the best choice.
No way im putting that radioshack crap on my 9ZH. I dont even know why I went to radioshack.. lol....

Why not just get the commonsense pak. 2500mah lipo. Works great, I have one in my 9C super. $56 can't beat it.

Well the 9C just uses a regular J plug to plug the battery into the transmitter.
If your wanting to install the Lipo in a 9Z. You will need a 9Z battery circuit board to solder the leads from the Lipo battery to. This circuit board then plugs into the 9Z transmitter via a 5 pin connection.

Andydenis,
sorry I wasn't watching this forum for a little while. The best deal going right now IMHO is the commonsenserc.com packs. They are 2500mah li-ion pack and fit like a glove in the futaba radios. I think they are something like $56 USD.

Buy the 1650 mah NIMH TX pack (hydrimax) from tower hobbies and solder it into the battery case. fits in nice.
Cost is ~$35 for pack
Done this twice over 12+years of service.
