I've been looking at these cells recently but do not see the 'common sense' about them. For their capacity and performance, they seem to weigh about 20-25% more than FP cells and do not cost much less.

Also, when I got a quote from them, they bragged about the fact that their 2p packs all come with 2x 12G battery leads (2 per cell, 4 total with 2p packs) and recommend using their 6mm bullets so you can solder them together. They say that this is a lot better than other cells that join together with one set of 12G battery leads. I mentioned to them, that this did not make a lot of 'Common Sense" since most esc's battery leads are only 14G anyway!

Their comment was, let us know if we can be of assistance with you again. As usual, Common Sense is not always that Common!

Cheers,

Tom C

Tom - I was thinking the same thing when I was price comparing their batteries to the Evo20 3700's... I would expect them to be more than 8 bucks less than the "BRAND A" tried and tested packs. Needless to say I will not be ordering any large packs from them -- although I have several 2 and 3S packs for parkfliers that were quite cost effective and work in the small application nicely.

True-RC is another example of a No Brand battery that costs within 10 bucks of Top Tier Brands.
