I have a cnc swash for the cp. Should I be lubricating the main shaft? if so, With what type of lube?
Thanks

Any type of light oil works fine. I have used sewing machine oil, 3-in-1, or even WD 40 (spray a puddle on something and apply it with a toothpick). I use the thin R/C motor lube now. Just a drop or it will fly all over when you spin up.

Hit up your local bike shop and find some Tri Flow. Good stuff and won't attract all kinds of dirt and grime.
I used to use it when I raced road bicycles back before my knees and ankles gave out.

You can buy tri-flow pretty much anywhere, not just bike shops. I think I bought mine at Ace Hardware, and it does work great. Great looking CP BTW.

Tri-Flow, try bass pro shops, and sometimes Wal-Mart in the squeeze bottle.
Tri Flow has PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or Teflon. The "Tri" is for "three" for penetration, lubrication, and corrosion prevention, I think. Yeah baby. Shake before using. How about molybdenum disulfidegrease grease on the shaft and Tri-Flow between the bushing and swash plate and pretty much every where else. Can't have too much lubrication, that's what I always say.

I guess that was too technical  . Nobody else wants to comment.

Easy there your Multisyllabic-ness. :)
Good to know you can find Tri-Flow other places than bike shops. I don't fish so I don't think I've ever been in a bass shop. I've never been in a Walmart either. I do have an Ace hardware close by so I'll hit them up when I need to replenish my supply.
As for the moly grease.. I wonder if it'd be too heavy/thick..

When I was in Key West Florida last summer, they said we were closer to Cuba than Wal-Mart. 90 miles from Cuba, 135 miles from Wally World :D

Nope, never. I don't think I've even driven past one. I know they're like Starbucks, one every other block, but I don't go to Starbucks either. 7-11 coffee is cheaper and better.

When they got bad press for child sweet labor making clothes in Bangladesh or where ever an old guy (ie, older than me) I worked with said this never would have happened if Sam Walton were alive.
