PCM 9X v2 & setup on Trex (Tail settings)

I previous used an Optic 6 and had it perfect, with zero tail wag.
I upgraded to the JR and i am not able to get the tail with out some wag.

The optic was very basic with a Gyro % with the 401 settings.

Only change is the radio. I am not sure how to fix ? There is a Gyro settings but is that for Gas Helis ? Or may i do not know enough about the radio yet. Any assistance would be great.

Use the gyro settings , plug the yellow ( i think) lead into ch 7 , aux 2 , in the rx , Gain numbers are usually around 70 and 30 ...... look at www.archeli.com.au its an Aussie version of Helifreak !!

Peter thats the first time I've heard anyone used Ch7 for the yellow lead.

I have a Trex and 9x2 and use ch5 (gear channel) and I dont use the gyro setting on the JR transmitter. I use Gear ch in TRVL ADJ. there is positive and negative values, u can toggle the GEAR switch to set up your Gyro values. Positive is for HH mode and Negative is NON HH mode.

My HH value is 35% and
Non HH value is -55%

my set up is 401/9650 tail servo
Delay is ZERO

I use Aux 2 ch for gyro on all my helis , as do most flyers I know !!! I use gear ch to switch the gov's on and off , mostly off ! , on my liquid powered machines ...
