How much play is normal on the torque driveshaft at the end?

how much play is normal for the torque shaft to move in the front transmission and back transmission output cups on a fury extreme? If i press the torque drive all the way in in the front delrin cup, and then press the torque shaft and boom all the way in, the torque shaft only is a couple if mm inside the front delrin cup. I think that was what caused my last crash. i just lost the tail, and the heli just started to spin. If i look at the front output cup that drives the torque shaft it have marks where the torque shaft has spun, just at the edge of the front cup. Shouldnt the torque drive have very little play in both end??

it's normal to have some play on the tail. I would assume your boom backed out a little. that's why you lost the tail. What i do on mine i put a mark on the boom this way i know if the boom is sliding out. For extra precaution i epoxy the boom to the 2 plastic pieces holding it.
