Here is a P-Max w/ carbon frames- The frames were fine after the crash.

I wish the Pred came in carbon. I'd be interested in one. I know it's fine the way it is, but to me, an aluminum framed heli is a step back to 1980. Maybe Century will hear us.

If your interested in MJP, email Mark P at pozzuoli@optonline.net

He is a great guy to deal with.

They will release the Predator in the "Carbon Pro" version
I don't know the price
They are releasing the carbon frame upgrade around $200 I think

The "Crash Test" I witnessed about paid for itself right there :D

We are negotiating with Mark at MJP and hopefully he will be one of our advertisers very soon. I have had some very positive experiences with Mark and MJP, so keep your fingers crossed!! :)

I have a carbon extreme set, they are much more durable then the stock metal. Have driven both of them in, metal had to replace all of it. Carbon came out without any problems.

Yes MJP has a CF frame set for the predator. It is not yet listed on MJP's site but contact Mark and he can fix you up.
I have 2 sets of these and they work great, weight savings is an honest 4 OZ over the aluminum stockers. And they are very crashworthy. I have had the unfortunate oppurtunity to test them in a hard crash, and not one of the frames sections was damaged.

Pepper,

Zak and I have been flying the new Century Carbon frames and they rock!!! I won't own the metal frames again - carbon is the way to go! Zak had radio problems 2 weeks ago at Blacksheep (see Tom's response - he saw how hard it it) and the PMAX was torn up but the frames came out without a scratch. We have the first set (testing them - just didn't want to "crash test" them) - they should have them ready for distribution immediately. I'll try to call them this afternoon and find out the status. They are very light and very high quality. Kam is also testing the first generation frames (earlier than ours) and they appear to be holding up quite well. One thing they need to change...the tail rotor servo mount pushrod and bellcrank (places the 9251 up front and out of the exhaust) is an additional cost (hopefully they change this and it comes with the frames).
