Actually no I can't give you an exact date because some of the changes from the testing required us to make some new updated parts. We had those parts tested thoroughly and we discarded the inventory we had of those parts and made them again.

I recently came back from a trip where I visited several of our vendors outside California. I wanted to take a look at where we were to see if we needed to do anything to expedite any parts but they seem to have things pretty much under control so things are looking good. This is one of the benefits of having a heli made in the US.

I also spent the past couple of days talking to Alan who has done an incredible number of flights with the final modified parts as well as several of the test pilots such as the Teambob00 guys and they are all in agreement that it's pretty much a solid go.

Regarding dates the one thing I can tell you is that we expect Santa to be pretty busy delivering Auroras this Christmas. To get ready for that we started this week contacting the new dealers and finalizing the agreements with the dealers and the new dealers list that will be published in two weeks once all dealer agreements are finalized. Dealers on that list are barred from taking any pre-orders until that list is published.

I hope there are no more unforeseen delays so that you guys can get your Auroras soon. I'm also glad that the extensive testing program paid off and allowed us to make those corrections before customers got their kits.

Augusto.

MD3DNT,

This may be a very stupid question but how in the world is an attitude illegal?????? :dontknow

Here in the good ole USA we have the right to have any attitude we disire.

Thanks

attitude is probably a wrong word
behaviour would be more adequate

runryder behaviour is also "weird"
its obvious that he is standing for augusto
is it because of commercial "connections" well .......

I would think if the attitude or behaviour or whatever you want to call it was illegal in Europe. That it would not be allowed by the government/authorities. So I would guess till that happens, it is legal no matter what is done.
At least here a person/company is innocent till proven guilty.

MD3DNT, You seem to be the only person in Europe that has a clue what you keep posting about. I have seen no other posts on the subject.

Actually I think I know what he is talking about. Eventhough you can do almost anything you want in the US, The european market has tons of rules regarding commercial relations, buyer protection, competition regulations etc etc.

Sometimes certain rules can be "bent" but never broken as the Governments or the EU itself will take steps to correct situations that seem not to be of the buyers best interest.

Kinda reminds me the time when BMW didn't warranty a Car in Country A that was bought in Country B by a person living in Country A. Needless to say they had to pay a 7 figure fine and nowadays you can service you car wherever you please.

Augusto is still a marketing genius (in my opinion) and I'm sure we all gonna be suprised when the Aurora finally comes out.

One curious note. Eventhough Augusto publically announced that no Dealer could accept pre-orders, there are tons of stores doing it right now online... wierd huh?

yeah right "marketing genious" since he is even able to sell a heli that does not yet exist in a proper form (i mean ready and reliable)
anyway i will make sure that the authorities will know all about this commercial behaviour
yes in europe we have rules for the best interest of buyers and augusto should be aware of them.
The fact that runryder baned me from the runryder forum is a prove that these guys are not fair to the buyers
they only need us to buy ..... and runryder wants his advertising company (forum) to be smooth.

No point discussing this.

Augusto can make the rules he wants. The european dealers will follow the rules they can follow.

You'll see you will be able to get the Aurora from anywere you want in europe.

Actually.. the Fact is that you were banned by Run Ryder for being a troll. You say the same tired story over and over and OVER again whining about a product that isn't even available yet. You hijack threads (like this one) to rant like you're going to save humanity from the unfair plague that is Augusto and his evil helicopter. You're not being productive in any way; and you're only getting yourself worked up. Buy another helicopter from a dealer in a different country that makes you happy. Life's too short for this crap.

I think his problem is that he wants to get it from the US (why is beyond my understanding as he would get screwed by customs anyway)

I can't wait for this heli to come out, not just because I want one, but because then all this crap talk will cease  . Then we all can get on with the fun stuff of discussing set up, performance, and watching videos of us flying it!

This is a common fallacy in dealing w/ people.

I don't subscribe to the 'if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything' school
of thought.

Sometimes, some people simply need to be told STFU or whacked w/ a clue-bat.

I'm buying mine in the UK.
It will cost a lot more than the exact same heli bought in the US.
Am I getting over it... no, I was over it ages ago.
I want the heli.
It costs X in my country.
I want the heli...
I will pay the price required to own it.
Did I mention I want the heli?

Let it go, will ya?
If you want one, buy one, if not, move along.
Ta :D
