figured I'd start a new thread since these are 660 and the other thread refered to 680's.

specs:

660.5mm span
63mm chord
175gr.
12mm grip
4/5mm bore
fiberglass with carbon reinforcment

I couldn't wait until tomorrow.. had to fly today. the temptation was too great. ;)

Let me just say that these blades are AMAZING! my Raptor was 11.8lb. These blades were holding hover at 4° of pitch! Headspeed estimated at 1650 or so. full collective at 11°. I need to reduce full collective to between 9-10° cause 11 is just too much

nearly 12 minutes of flight on my electric Raptor with 10s 5,000mah pack.

These blades can LIFT. I could easily have put another 1.5lb on no sweat. I did a hovering auto and they do not have the inertia that my V-blades have, but it was very respectable.

here's the best part - $72!

I'm going to buy another couple sets to keep handy.

I knew they were gonna be good. Now you're gonna make me stretch mine too! I'll have to go look up that other thread you had with the belt and boom part numbers.

I'd have found a way to fly them today also, even if it was a midnight flight in a lit parking lot...

That is as cheap as the TT 600 blades.

12 minutes!

Running metal blade grips with these?

What is decent out there for grips. Everything I find is over $100. Ouch!

Mavrikk metal grips. $50. they are every bit as good at TT grips.

I flew 11 minutes this morning on them. Still loving the lifting power they have... wow.

I do notice they are not as solid as my TT or V symms. While in hover if you let go of the sticks they will drift from trim quicker than symm blades but nothing drastic. hell... with an AP200i I doubt you would ever notice that.

speaking of which I can't wait to put my AP2000i on my nitro Raptor. woohoo!

Thanks DJ, I'll have to get some of those mavrikk grips. $50 is much better than $100!

Yeah with the ap 2000i I doubt you will.

I usually fly in a very urban area, tonight me and my cameraman headed up to our cottage, and we found some nice farm with rolls of hay all over a field. We stopped to shoot the hay in the field, then I went up to about 200 feet, perfect blue sky, and no wind. I told the cameraman to hold the shutter down, I let go of the right stick, and slowly pirouetted around just leaning on the rudder. The heli just sat there perfecty the whole time as I was going around. I have never had it sit so well before as that is usually one of the downsides of the IR sensor, once trimmed in one position, when you rotate 180, it will usually push you around as the heat source is now on the other side. Unless of course you are in a rural area (which I was tonight) or are up really high to clear everything.

I have some stitching to do now for that pano...
