Can a lean condition cause the tail to kick? I have an OS 50 hyper, and if I lean it out enough to have decent power, it misses a beat every now and then and the tail kicks in time with the miss. If I richen it up enough to stop the tail kick, I get no power. Is the tail kick only a rich condition thing, or can it happen lean, too?

Anytime the power output is inconsistent it can cause the gyro to kick.

Have you checked your backplate temp?
