I would like TT to make bigger tank for the 50 size heli. There's plenty of room. What are the alteratives in doing this?

I heard that the TITAN has a bigger fuel tank..and the TT 50 Pro is a more fuel efficient engine compared to a Hyper OS>

With minor work you can get the R60/90 tank in a R50...

I think 9 minutes is long enough! Take a break and let it all soak in.
Reflect over your flight.
Oh, and you can refuel while the engine is running

I agree 9 minutes is alot especially if you're winging the hell out of it, but I do like to hang around up there and practice certain stuff over and over till I get it,like I can with my Raptor 30. I get 15 to a max of 20 minutes. I'd like to see a solid 12 -14 minuts if possible on the 50. After the flight Then ponder my inner thoughts on what soaking of reflection
my mind needs and wants,,meditate till enlightened, then fuel up again, fly, repeat as needed.
LOL!!

TT50 will get you a good 15min flight.

Hows the power with the TT? Are you running 15 or 30% nitro?

I get 11 minutes to a tank with my Hyper engine. Could probably squeeze out another minute if I emptied the header tank too :).

Eerie, since you have a Titan you should be aware that it's the same size fuel tank as all the other V2 Raptor 30/50's.
With that said, the best way to stretch out your run times is to have 2 head speeds and use them.

I don't have the TT50, I'm running the hyper. I use to have a TT50 and the power was ok on 30%.
If your just learning and not into hard 3D, TT50 is good to start with.

I have heard if you run 15% you get longer run times

It's not false. You will run a little bit longer with 15% because you will run a little bit leaner than running with 30%. But, by my experience, you can fly near 13-14 minute with 30%. Maybe you run very rich, that explain why you fly only 8 minutes. The stock tank is enough with one header tank.

Correction guys, i went to check my Nitro bottle, i am using the 20%
As for the tank, yeah its the same size.
Looking at the frame, i notice there is another screw hole on the other size of the frame opposite the header tank mount. I was wondering whether we could install 2 header tank..need to plan out the fuel lines..

Hi guys,
What is the easiest way to remove the Fuel Tank on the R50v2?
I want to replace the fuel tubing inside and do not want to pull the frame apart.

Take off the rear skid and slowly pry the fuselage. Tank should drop off easily if you have disconnected the fuel lines

For the record, I've put an R90 tank in my R50 before. I beveled a 45-degree edge in the inside portion of the frames where the rear landing gear legs bolt on (otherwise it chafes the fuel tank), but other than that, all I did was heat the tank up with a hair dryer to soften it a little, then squeeze it a little bit to fit it in the frames. Use a couple Velcro ties to make sure it doesn't wiggle around, and you're golden. When you heat the tank and squeeze it, make sure you squeeze it a little smaller than you need, so that it's not sandwiched tightly in the frame, otherwise your engine vibration will foam the fuel in the tank.
Worked like a charm for me.

And how long can it stay airborne? I think if i use this mod and also retain my TT50, i m gonna be up there forever...

Isn't there an aftermarket oversize tank for the R50? That would save a lot a of time modifying things.
