I just got the sim yesterday and after having set up my throttle curves I was sorely disappointed to find that they made little difference in the sim.
I think the problem is in how the model is set up. In one of the drop down menus there is an option called "model parameters". In the model parameters dialog box you can see a number of configuration options and values. From what I've noticed many of the helis have the governor mode selected. I found that deselecting that will allow the TX programmed throttle curves to work the way they shoold. I tried to do this to the Trex model I got off of trextuning.com but it wouldn't let me alter the bird because there apparently isn't a configuration file... try this fix w/ the other birds to see what you get.

After owning Reflex for a week or so this fix should be applied to all the heli models.
Under "Model Parameters" (F5 key) make sure the governor mode is not selected and that TX throttle/pitch curve is selected.
Now if I could just figure out how to stop some helis' tails from wagging like crazy!

tail wakking means that you have too much gain like in the real world. go to the model -> modify model paragrams and fix the rudder efficiency to the 75% if its now 100. if doesnt help, put 60%.

When I try to take the model off gov. mode to tx mixing an alert tells me that the HELI\.MOD is unavailable. Any clue on this issue?

Just select the correct one for that model from the drop down list.

Thanks for the bit on tail wagging. most of the time, it only happens in FF. only twice in hovering!

Just select the correct one for that model from the drop down list.
Just for the record for anyone else because this gave me grief.
This means press F5 (modify model parameters) and pick a file from the drop down menu for the box "model appearance". the file you put in that box for the model apearaance will also be the file you save model parameters in. If there is nothing in the box you get the message as there is no where to save the changes.
