I have the 60M carb on my pumped c-spec.

How do I buy the big bore cline 60K from OMI? Do I have to deal direct with OMI or do some dealers sell them?

Also, do I have buy a 60K and send it in, or does OMI sell them complete?

One more thing... Can I use this OMI carb on the SZ engine too?

you just call up James @ OMI and lay down the credit card ;)

he sells the complete mod'd carb or will mod your own provided carb.

I got the former.

Dunno re: 91SZ, I believe he will modify the 91SZ carb but most report that there is no need.

Marcus was running the 60K BB/Cline OMI Carb on his SZ at XFC and for a few weeks before it at Black Sheep. Seems to run great and produce very good power.

Does anyone have a rough price on the mod with carb?

if you need to buy a carb

60 k carb about 100.00
cline mod about 95.00
big bore 60k 100.00
---------
total 295.00 give or take.

if you have a sz carb all that would be need in the the cline mod

So I finally got one... I had to buy the 60MC carb and have it sent to OMI.

I've got it back, and I'm installing it. It appears that the regulator body is very close to the engine crankcase. Is this normal? It's probably less than 1mm away from the crankcase at three locations. Although I can't imagine any way to re-orient it any better.

What I'm worried about is that it's so close that i imagine with all the vibration, it might contact the crankcase and maybe cause interference.

I also bought a new 91 c-spec w/pump and discarded the carb and pump... At closeout prices, it was probably worth it to stock up now that I've got this carb.

The regulator is going to be close to the crankcase that is normal. Turn the regulator on the nipple till it is square with the crankcase. Then when installing the carb, tilt the carb in the crankcase till the regulator is just clear of the crankcase. It will not vibrate against the crankcase. If it does there is some serious problems somewhere on the model.
