A GIANT thank you to ron keith!!! He looked over my setup this morning and assisted with radio setup etc and the beast saw the air. I got home recharged assembled my sissy gear and it saw air again. It is 115 here in palm springs but I am sure I wuold have been sweating just the same!! What an experience, I got comfy with the hover after about ten minutes. VERY ADDICTING!!! Anyhow that gave me a real appreciation for Ron's piloting skill, ha made it look so easy on the test flight LOL. Rons got some pics of the bird etc. BTW Ron maybe it is just my inexperience but it seems as though we may have reduced the throttle curve a little too much as it liked to come down a little hard, there was no happy medium. Just seemed like maybe there was just a hair too little throttle when bringing it down. Would you say maybe raise my lower 3 points 5% or so? Also my HH wouldnt activate after our last change but I know how to fix that (I think). We have the radio set for 43% It worked ok when we had it set at around 60%. I could be wrong but I though that anything under 50% would turn HH off? Unreal. Again thank you Ron I wouldn't and couldnt have done it without the confidence booster of having you look it over. That turbine was unreal too. I am rambling now..... just happy to have a bird in one piece after I flew it. :D [/i]

You are most welcome Sir - glad you guys could make it out to a cooler area to fly.

Yes - bump up the 2 and 3 setting on Norm until you feel it's coming down under control and remember to think ahead of it if you can.

On the Gyro, leave swx F forward or away from you and increase the Gyro sensitivity setting a few points higher - if that does not work move the end point adjustment on chan 5 higher. Not being familiar with that TX I am unsure which setting is controlling the 401 - my SWAG is on the Gyro Sens :D

Happy to help you get r done -

Drop by anytime ....

Ron
