I've been out of the hobby for three years. I've used V-blades before and loving it. Now, I am back to the hobby and just bought a Trex 700 and I could not find V-blades available anywhere. What is the second choice of blades that has more pop? I am not comparing the performance.

Richard I have a set of V-Blade 690 blades here on the wall at HeliHobby. 1 set only though...
I run V-Blades on my 600 so then I went to Radix 600 Stick Bangers because they said they have more pop and I didn't like them. Traded the for another set of V-Blades from someone.
Now I have tried the 690 Radix and the Align 690 blades on the 700. So far the Align 690 I like better. :o I haven't tried V-Blades on the 700 yet though.

I have tried the V-Blades on the 700 and they kill the head dampers in five minutes flat.
The radix are superb on the 700 and my favorites, they may not have the pop of the v-blades but at least they won't bog the engine, the aligns are the closest i have got to the v's quite poppy but don't kill the dampers.
I have heard good things about the torsions, suppose to be quite poppy

690 vblades have a lot of pop if you can find them. I am really liking the 690 rotortech blades, they seem to have as much pop as the V blades and they also auto a little better.

I have a set of Maverick G5 Wide Cords, from what i've been told they are the closest to V-Blades, alot of bite but require more collective management.

+1 Align 690
Try Torsion 690mm, they are fantastic, lots of pop, just decrease collective pitch and you will be very impressed....
I have equipped my 700 with all Torsion stuff : tail blades, paddle and blades, and I really really like it!!

OK, I've came down to two brands, align 690 vs rotortech 690. Which one has more pop?
