Hello everyone. I am looking to get into Nitro flying. I have two TREX450's and am looking to step up and play with the big boys. So I have looked at Raptor 50 and the Hirobo EVO 50. I understand that spare parts are cheaper with the Raptor. But I am looking for something that I don't plan to grow out off. So that is why I am looking at a EVO. My question is what type of setup do you guy recommed? What servos would you recommend? I am using a Futaba 9C transminter and would like to stay with Futaba for the electronics.

Thanks

Darin

P.S. Where is a good place to get my EVO?

Ricks

I like the 9252s
Hyper 50
JK Pipe (great power, quiet, PIA mounting though)
Vs Sabs or rotortechs (610)
401 or 611 if you want to get fancy
Lots of Fuel.

Evo 50 for sure. Awsome helicopter and great company service.

9451's or 9252's
Hyper50
v-blades
durilites
and like Steve said "Lots of fuel" cause you are gonna be flying it all the time.

EVO.................don't even think about the Raptor................not equal at all :)

Hitec 5625mg
Hyper 50
Revolution Muffler
Duralites
401 gyro w/JR810G
MAH600
MAH tail blades

BTW: the Revolution muffler does very well and sounds so sweet :)

Evo 50 HPM (I have swm at the moment, PITA!)
Hitec 6965 - they are awesomely quick - but 9252's if it must be futaba.
Gy401
546 Hatori
Sanyo KR1700's
Sab's
SD-G washout unit
Freya Skids.

That'll be my next Evo50, maybe a 611, or csm720 (i like the idea of all in one for a thrasher heli - but i would do more homework on it first. My Futaba is flawless, just a little fragile. I mounted the amp in the battery tray for a bit of extra protection.)

9451s in my EVO50...much faster than 9252s. :glasses2: same price too. Great choice of helis, I love mine and only have a few flights on it. Very smooth machine. :glasses2:
