Okay I have heard/read about zipties being used to secure the landing struts to the frame, how I wondered how/where?
I did do a search but did not come up with definitive results.
Thanks

Saved my skids and frames mulitple times. See the holes where you screw the skids on? 4 on the skids? 4 on the frame? Line them up and zip tie them up tight.
I'll show a pic when I get home.

I'm guessing you need to ream out the holes a bit to get a zip tie through? I was just thinking... I keep a lot of short zip ties around that I've cut off of models. You can stick a short zip tie through the hole, and then put just a zip tie head on the other end. Make any sense?

Another option that others have mentioned is using plastic machine screws ( available at local hardware store ) to secure the landing gear.

Sweet plan ferret. That way they would pop off a bit easier, and be a little nicer to look at.
