fat battery ????????

whats going on
one of my lipo batts is swelling up a bit its about 4 months old maybe
use it daily. I have a balance charger. not esky or stock charger but an align charger.
is this batt dead??????
can i still use it ???
im not too good with lipos.

Speaking of "on fire"...
It's called puffing and could be dangerous.

Lipo's can puff for various reasons like over discharge, high heat or damage.
Once a lipo puffs, depending how severely, it should be closely monitored and/or retired.

I have one battery that gets ever so slightly puffed after a hard flight. Once it cools it returns to normal. I keep this battery separate from the rest and I'm seriously considering giving it the salt water bath.

Lipo's can be dangerous, I keep all of mine in a fire proof cement block.
Continuing to run a puffed or damaged battery could cause a fire.

I'm no lipo expert but there is plenty of expert info in the battery/charger forums.

+1 on advice above. You need to read the dangers of lipos.
