I saw someone use a sub micro for a throttle servo in a gasser. I wont mention any names (Rodney), but he had good luck with it. He built an insert out of what I think was carbon fiber and screwed the inser into the mount and the servo into the insert. I almost tried a 9650 on the tail when I was having gyro problems but found a 9254. I think it would work great on the throttle.

I'm using 9602's which are the same case dims as the 9650.

Why would you want to use the 9650 (weight??). It's more expensive than the average servo.

I'm using the 3152 with great success on 2 of my birds (an airskipper 50 and a sylphide 90). No need for a very fast servo on the throttle me thinks :).
