Very few stresses out at the tips. I would soak in some thin CA and smooth out with some fine sandpaper.

BTW: How do you like the SG specials? I'm flying those on my 700E.

i love them but i fine them to heavy. meaning when i do hard 3d with them i see the heli moving slow, but with it flys great

Why take the chance...you fix and balance them (hopefully). Go and fly and wind up crashing because they came apart. So now your out the cost of heli parts AND blades instead of just a set of blades.

MY 2 CENTS...go buy a new set of blades. It's not worth the risk and your safety.

blades...~$120
crash....~$200+

Getting your chopper back on ground in one piece...priceless.

they should be fine if its just a chip but there could be hidden cracks......

if you can flex them by hand and they don't make ANY noise then they are probably good, but if you hear any noise chuck em.

i checked the blade from top to bottom and no cracks or noise. just scratch on the tips. the heli only scrape the sidewalk a bit

if your still not sure 50/50, through them on a try something new...

inverted auto, blade stop...etc.

you have a high chance of breaking them but the blades are already scuffed...
