went from flying gassers to just the nitro bird to now 3 electrics. just picked up this little gem

I had 2 of them about 4 yrs ago and loved them! I think they can carry 1.5lb without complaining about it. Perfect for my 6mp point and shoot Nikon. They are pretty efficient too. As I recall I would get 8 minutes on 10 cell 1700mah back in the Nicad days. and that was lugging around a scale A-Star fuselage. Should get 12-14 minutes on this LiPo equipped bird.
I'm beginning to feel like I'm spreading my time too thin between all these damn projects.... sheeeeesh!

Too many irons in the fire is my biggest problem as well. :) I have to force myself to just concentrate on one project at a time, to bring it to completion. It is a very hard thing to do.

a RTF Carbon Voyager E. it was a steal and I almost felt sorry for the guy selling it.
$325 for the entire setup that is worth over $1200.

It is based on Quick Japan EP-8 mechanics, but stretched with a CF boom and longer belt to run 420mm blades. The frames are a totally new design as well, which I'm doing with Charley at Rotorworkz.com. In a 3D setup, this would use a Hacker A30-12XL and a 9s-2100 setup, but in an AP configuration, I will use an A30-8XL and a 5s-eMoli setup, which should work quite well.

Cool.
I like yours too Gary. What does a setup like that go for $$ ?
I'm looking to pick up a Trex for my next ap ship for some traveling AP. I see quite a few guys being very successful with them. I would just stick my Nikon 5200 on there. I do a lot of traveling in the summer, and with 5 people and a dog, it is VERY hard to find room for the stretched raptor in the van. Not to even mention the fact that if I do make it all fit, I am the only one in the van who cares what shape the heli arrives in when we get where we're going!
I can't travel and see new places without having something with me to do some AP with, so this should work out great.
These Trex's fit completely in a hardcase so no worries while traveling, and it is a pretty small hardcase.
I was hoping to get one before I head off for 10 days at the end of this week, but having trouble finding a decent used one. I might just breakdown and buy a whole new 450SE setup.

The O.D. is 21mm, and the I.D. is 20mm. It is basically a cut-down Sceadu boom.
