Default DX7 Transmitter only?

Are there any reputable retailers that sell the DX7 as a transmitter only deal? I just want to make an upgrade from my DX6i but don't need servos and a receiver I won't use.

The only place I've seen them w/o servos (and bought them) was on Ebay. Around $200

Yes, I just got one from a seller on RCUNIVERSE for $179 brand new in the box. Very reputable and I'd buy from him again. I also picked up 4 receivers from him to save on shipping.

Here's a link to his heli DX7: http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=511690

Good luck,

check out www.lightflightrc.com, thebarnfloor.com add to cart. They have some of the best Spektrum prices around. It almost doesn't make it worthwile buying a TX only with no warranty when you can get the TX, RX, battery, charger and a few servos for $100 more (plus a warranty).

The guy at the link I provided has full 1-year factory warranty...as stated it's brand new in the box. And it comes with a battery and charger.

I personally had no need for servo's so didn't want to pay $100 more.

Maybe, but horizon won't honour warranty claims from ebay / auction / forum sales. Is he representing a brick and mortor hobby shop or does he warranty service what he sells personally?
