Just got my 12Z and was looking for a setup file for a basic Trex SE. I'm new at RC stuff and am coming up with questions when trying to do this myself...All help will be appreciated. Thanks

Dont have anything here at work, But when I get home tonight I'll upload one or both my SE models. one se has Quark 33a ESC & ALIGN430L the other has a CC-35 ESC & AON 2815-3500. You planning on usong the 5014G3 recvr? or using something else?
My SE's have BERG 6DSP GIII Receivers.
Also I changed My channel asignments to duplicate my Fut 9CHPS so I could use either radio without changing which servo plugs in to which channel. I'll post those settings just in case those settings are in the file and rely on settings in the other menus.

Ok, Here is one of my SE's.
My channel setups are ( NOT the same as the default CH assignments ):
CH Function
1 Elevator J2, T2
2 Aileron J1, T1
3 Throttle J3, T3
4 Rudder J4, t4
5 Gyro SA, LD ( this allows me to adjust the gyro sensitivity w/LD)
6 Pitch J3, NULL
7 Gear SC, NULL ( Unused )
8 Governor NULL, NULL ( Unused )
http://warhammer.mcc.virginia.edu/ty/TREX-S-1.mdl
You need to pay attention to your ch REVERSE settings, the gyro reverse setting, and
throttle reverse. Here are my reverse settings.
MAIN SCREEN ->LINKAGE -> SERVO REVERSE
CH FUNCTION SETTING
1 ELEV NORMAL
2 AILERON REV
3 THROTTLE REV
4 RUDDER REV
5 GYRO NORMAL
6 PITCH NORMAL
7 GEAR NORMAL
LOOKING AT HELI FROM ABOVE & FROM THE REAR:
The tail servo is on the left ( to protect it from a flybar strike in a crash )
This heli is equipped with the ALIGN tail gearbox, slider, grips, etc.
Gyro is right side up, but below boom ( in custom mount made from CF & delrin
This also to protect it from flybar ) with switches & pots to the rear.
DIR = NORM, DS=ON (9650 dig servo )
Limit between 80-100, delay=0.
Pitch servo on heli's right looking from rear
Aileron servo on heli's Left looking from rear
CC-35 ESC, running AON 2815-3500
Hope this helps.

Thanks TY, I will load these up and give them a try. I will be using the Electron6 receiver in the Trex's

I'm actually running the 5014 in my SE. I was going to replace it with a smaller Rx, but it's working out so well I'm just going to leave it in. It's a perfect fit between the frame sides in the back.

Sounds like a good idea. Its laying here so I might as well use it

I am seeing more nad more people flying the 5014 in their TREXX. THey also seem to crash well, I know Wayne Ellison's has survived MANY crashes, I think he has at least 3 TREX's using the 5014.
