Hi,

I have bought a 2nd hand 50 V2 recently (my first) All is in very good order except for the Flybar Control Rods.

Busy inspecting and rebuilding as required.

The Flybar Control Rods seem to be made of Aluminium (an upgrade performed by previous owner who in currently unreachable).
Both top and bottom has a threaded hole to accept a ball link of some sort.

Problem is; The state I got them in they were mounted to the head with normal Pushrod Ball Links twisted into these threaded holes... the long ends of the ball links were past the inside frame of the Control Rods by almost 7mm on either side.. also they were not of equal length (ball link to ball link). Not very pretty and not they way I suspect it should have been done.

There was binding to the blade grips due to this then the flybar was moved beyond a tame angle.

Question is, what should the measurements of the Flybar Control Rod be ball link hole centre to ball link hole centre and from the frame to the ball links centre top and bottom?

I will have to go and find some sort of ball link designed to fit into the threaded holes of the correct length...

Any idea what I could use for the ball links to go into the threaded holes?

Probably going to get a std plastic Flybar Control Rod, but would like to use the aluminium ones...

My first post!

Got the std plastic ones.

The metal control rods's ball links are only available as a kit with the flybar control rods and not seperately...
