View Full Version : Where are the tracks in asheville,nc

Hi every one , i have two revos with os engines , got a few hop ups but heres the deal they"re all dressed up and no where to go , i used to race at a couple backyard tracks in the asheville north carolina area , but it seems they closed any ideas where to race or maybe get something going for 09 to race?

You might have already tried, but I would say ask your LHS to see if they know of any places.

Revos are nice. I remember when I used to race Monster Trucks (Savage) in Illinois, the Revos always beat us and won :D Its got such a unique suspension system... It was perfect for short tracks....

That was actually the first place i checked about 1 yr ago one lhs had a car guy with a real short track in his front yard ,that kinda fizzled out when mostly crawler guys started showing up and the second track was super nice but due to noise ordinance closed down and nothing to replace it, i really enjoyed the competition my wife actually has her own truck ,first race she took second place .

Anyways, I used to hang out on double you double you double you dot BeatYourTruck dot Com a lot. There should be some folks on there in your area.

If you go to Carolinasrc.com, there is a community section. When you click on it just scroll down. There are tracks listed for SC, NC, GA, and VA. The forums are updated by the tracks themselves, so they provide up to date information.

i went to the site but nothing close to Asheville but i am still hopeful that somebody will open one soon
