Had a crash a few days ago and it appears the camera took some damage. On first inspection it played back recorded video perfectly and all mechanical functions seem ok.
I tried to recoed today and all that comes out is blue. Blue on the viewfinder, screen and finished product.
Make offers if you would like a fixer upper or a DV converter or send it in for repairs.
It was NOT a cheap camera.

whay happens when you record on the camera and then take the tape out and play on another DV deck or camera?

Blue screen only -
I fear the CCD got smacked or circuitry to or from it. All other fxs seem fine.
Kind of hate to part with it as you have seen some of the vids it produced for me/ :?

This is a really stupid question ....But...did you check to make sure that you are still in the camera mode and didn't accidently rool the control knob into VTR mode??? It seems very strange that it worked fine after the crash but then stopped the following day.....

It played back fine after the crash, I did not try the CCD lens record mode until later ...
Oh how I wish I missed a VTR switch, it has been a sweet camera -
