To get the most out of them, I've found you need to crank up the headspeed. Those that say they don't feel MA's are giving them what they had hoped for, are usually running too low a headspeed. Actually, I've gone back to stock paddles, on my 50's, and a higher headspeed. I like the feel better, no pitchyness in FFF, and it flips plenty fast.

OK, JUST MADE A BAD MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was thinking of MAH paddles instead of MA.... sorry dude, don't have any experiance at MA... but i can say the MAH carbon's are great...

Interesting Al. I run the white MA's and 95mm V paddles all at between 1600 lowest headspeed and 1850 and they work fine.

I hear good things about the V's. I have a couple sets to try out. One set on the 90 also.

i have the white MA paddles on my raptor. The cyclic is much faster than with the black paddles and i dont notice any pitchyness in ff unless i'm going really fast. I'm gonna try some V paddles just out of curiosity but I am happy with the MA's.

Awesome here too. Very fast and not very pitchy.

I drilled holes in them just like the stock TT paddles, tapped for 3mm screws and used the longer TT stock setscrew for them. No glue, no mess. Just make a jig to hold them and use your drill press, etc.

I just tried out a set of white MA paddles this evening on my R60, had been trying all weekend but was busy helping friends with their helis (which isn't so bad in itself)

I was really impressed with them, the only heli I have experience with is the R60 with the black stock paddles.

They have really changed the whole feel of the helicopter, it almost felt like a new machine the cyclic response was hot, but it didn't change how the hover felt by much.

I had to adjust myself a little bit in the turns and it was easier to over-correct and such but that was solved within a few tanks.

I would say the flip/roll rate is 2 or 3 times greater than the stocks, I love it!

Jon, I think a couple 3" long pieces of 2X4 would be hotter than the stock R60 paddles! I'm surprized they lasted so long on your machine.

Al, 2x4 HAHAHAHAH very good one!!:D

Jerm, HTH means "Hope this helps"

I have been running the white MA paddles for over a year. There IS one trick to make the less pitchy that Shannon showed me (the man is a genious!)

I was having pitchiness in FFF. He took a piece of sandpaper our of hs box and sanded off all the mould lines and kindof rounded all the sharp edges just a little bit.

The pitchiness was gone!
Check your White MA paddles for those mould lines and make sure and get them off. Makes a difference.

I used to sand the leading edges of the KSJ paddles when done properly they worked pretty darn good, flip and roll rate was unreal....

I now prefer the white MA paddles, haven't sanded mine down but really haven't felt a need to. I run around 1850 in idleup as well.

We were doing the "sand the leading edge" thing with the KSJ paddles for the Rap30/50's. Had the same good results.

Tried my new V paddles today, the heli flys smoother with the V's but the cyclic is a good bit slower than with the MA paddles. I will probably be putting the MA's back on because i find myself using full cyclic to get the same flip/roll rate that I was getting at half stick before. IMO the MA's are the best for 3D on the raptor.

I use the MA whites on my raptor and nexus. I didn't find them pitchy at all and I haven't checked if they needed sanding or not because they run well. I also tried the KSJ's but found them extremely pitchy, rolled ok but the heli was up and down like a yo-yo.

I just installed my white MA paddles on my R50V2.

All I can say is WoooHooo! Hold on tight!

The thing will almost grab it's own tail rotor with the nose now! :D

It's like having power steering! I changed nothing but put on the white MA paddles. It's like having a new ship.

I ended up putting in about -40% expo to calm it down a bit around center stick.

I couldn't tell if it was pitchy in FF as the wind was gusting to 24 to 30 MPH today. That was fun! I was doing FF and my smoke trail was in front of my heli during downwind passes!
