Hah, I am not worried about stealing anything dude, lol. Just real glad it is working our for you for sure. A big step up from the ol' Swift huh? What % on your esc are you at 2100 with? You using the CC or Jazz esc...? Heh, share your complete setup, I am curious what you did..
BTW those tail blades look good and work good to hey?

I'm not sure the swift will see the air again, I thought I might keep it for beating up on, but so far the logo is flying lower/harder/faster.
I'm running curves with the cc45hv, 100-97-95-97-100 with a 13 tooth pinion.
It doesn't balance particularly well with such a light battery and motor though.
Added a swift washout base, as it has a metal insert and is exactly the same dimensions as the mikado piece.

9650s on the swash, gy502/9254 on the tail, spektrum reciever, and a medusa 6 v bec.

The tail blades look familiar, huh :D
I didn't even try the stock ones :dontknow

I think I'm going with the neu 1915 1y motor and 10s1p flightpower 3700 packs in the future though, I merely wanted to fly the logo 14 before the snow showed up, ergo the swift's power system in the logo 14.
I'm really glad I got it up and flying though, makes me look forward to spring  .

Looks good. I would love a Logo 14 myself, but waiting for that Lotto win is getting frustrating. :arggg:

Hey I'm gonna mix it up for the next canopy once it gets in, lol. Got #2 all fixed now and ready for a flight trim etc, maybe some greens or light blues this time mixed in, we'll see. Mel and NTM look good, main thing is you can see them in sky, so many peeps paint these sky blue jobs and fancy alien stuff and you can not see them, I don't understand those ones.....

BTW Lorents, in Canada we don't sue peeps, just Hockey fight lol :hammer

Here is a couple pictures of the new look on my L14. I asked AceHelis to paint the GF canopy and he did a pretty good job. He had a lot of problems with the paint reacting so the finish isnt 100%, but it looks pretty good :) Its much heavier than the plastic one so it will probably not be used too much.

Also rebuilt the tail using a lighter MS boom and Nennos tail box. Saved a lot of weight in the tail compared to the alu boom and the open CF box. The stock plastic tail box is even lighter though, so that would be the best one to use, but I guess Shawn and I likes the shiny parts  Dont mind the tail blades, they will be replaced soon...

Just curious.... how do you get the canopy on without popping the paint off? Seem you really have to bend the rear area a lot to get it on the bird and it seems that would be hard on paint?

Use flexible colors, I use Parma's FasColor, no issues at all with it breaking, even with clear coat on (regular car single clearcoat)

See at this picture, not a single scratch in the paint...

I used a dremel and cut almost a straight line from the swash opening and backwards so that its open at the rear. Sounds drastic, but looks ok. Slides right on without too much bending. I'll get a picture of it tomorrow.

Finless, Another "trick", My canopies tend to crack after heavy wear close to where your front servo's are (in that area), I use a fiber-based tape on the inside, helps to extend the life of the canopies.
Even if it cracks, tape will keep it from tearing.

Bob if you use a scotch bright pad to lightely sand the canopy and use a good flexible paint it sticks well

I f you need one painted send it to me

All 3 of the paineted canopies are my work that ismy 14 canopy before it got destroyed

Thanks for the offer Bobby but I have painted several different plastic canopies. The logo is different though with how thin the canopy is and the amount of flexing required to get it on so I was worried about that aspect. I have had great success painting other plastic canopies so far :)

BTW I use an Adhesion Promotor to also help keep the paint on canopies. It is made for car bumpers and you can get it in a rattle cant at a auto parts store.

Also for canopies like Hirobo I use the butane tourch trick to oxidize the plastic. Basically you QUICKLY run the flame of a butane torch over the plastic. The intent is not to heat it up just casue the plastic to oxidize. Then shoot it with the adhesion promotor and prime it.

Anyway thinks for the offer man! It's appriceated!

Here are a few of mine that I painted ALL WITH RATTLE CANS. Nothing fancy but I like them that way.....

Hi Bobby,

I bought it from Shawn, and Shawn bought it here:
http://www.modellbau-liste.de/Shop/logo-tuningteile_alu-tuning.htm

The one I got will only fit the alu boom and the MS carbon boom. The Mikado CF boom has a slightly less ID so it doesnt fit there.

You can also buy them from Espirit Model now, fyi. :)

Just make sure to tell them to check for the aluminum spacers, I have had them come without and then you can not mount your vertical fin!

I know, that is the first run belts of 4mm, now they are 6mm, that stupid skiny arsed belt cost me over a grand, I suggest to anyone that has a L14 to get the newest 6mm wide belt for longevity... Just my thoughts anyways...

Here is some pictures of the Christmas project this year... Its a Logo 10 deluxe (with tons of upgrades) converted for AP. Works great running a Neu 1910 1Y on 6S - draws an average of 20 amps with the mount, downlink and a small camera :)
